  青森と北海道にて小児科医として勤務。主に地域の乳幼児健診、子どもの発達障害臨床に従事した。その後、宮城県にて精神科医として精神科救急、地域精神保健に従事した。東北大学大学院では公衆衛生学教室にて、自殺の疫学・予防の研究に従事した。2008年からは宮城県で初めての児童精神科病棟の運営に東北福祉大学せんだんホスピタルで取り組んだ。

　2011年12月より、震災復興に特化した「みやぎ心のケアセンター」に勤務し、宮城県を中心に被災地の訪問、各種の普及啓発活動、地域支援者へのスーパーバイズなどに取り組んだ。被災地に暮らす子どもたちの長期的な健康調査（みちのくこどもコホート http://www.miccageje.org/)に取り組んでいる。2021年4月より現職。

Naru Fukuchi, MD, PhD

Clinical Associate Professor, Tohoku Medical and Pharmaceutical University Hospital

President, Miyagi Disaster Mental Health Care Center which concentrates on recovery and care of citizens’ Mental Health post-disaster caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

He worked as a pediatrician in the northern area of Japan being engaged mainly in health check-ups of infants and child clinical development disorder. He turned to a psychiatrist and has worked in the field of community mental health. He is also one of the child and adolescent psychiatrists in Japan. Right after the disaster in 2011, he went to the affected areas and experienced supporting victims and has engaged in disaster psychiatry in Japan.
